Change to Meetups?

Well, it's February now and we haven't had much activity on the groups page or with the meetups. The last meetup was in October last year. (I know everyone has been really busy!!)

I wanted to see if there are still those out there that want to get together.

To try and make it a little more inviting I'd like to propose a change to the meetup schedule and locations. I'd like to see us to go a Saturday meetup. This way, those of us with day jobs don't have to fight with work to make it. And choosing a Saturday like the first or last Saturday of the month might make it a little easier to remember.

I also think we should try and meet in restaurants or bars (with wifi of course). This way, we can eat and drink as well as talk and type. No one has to organize for snacks and we don't have to schedule around meals. So a lunch meetup would be possible.

At this point I also feel that we should just do all the meetups in Omaha. I live in Lincoln, but if keeping the meetups consistent is what keeps them going, I will make the trip. Especially if we can move it to a Saturday. This way attendees can bring families along that could enjoy the other attractions of Omaha while we meet.

If anyone has any suggestions of good places that we could try and pick as a home I would welcome them. I don't know Omaha as well as I used to. A place where we could just walk in and have a good chance at commandeering a space would be good.
