DrupalCamp Delhi 2016 Planning

Hi Everyone,

I am starting this discussion thread to start with the initial phases for DCD 2016.

It has been a most awaited event and we are firstly gathering inputs on the date favorable for the same. We are planning have it around October.

Please provide your valuable inputs/suggestions for the Camp.

Let's together make it a grand success again.

Dates can be planned for October. We have a lot time for preparations.....

Hi Prashant,

Thanks for starting the conversation. I think we should try to plan DCD in the first week of November, after Dipawali breaks. I'm looking forward to the event, and would like to be the part of preparations.

I am not agree with @gaurav.goyal as i belongs to bihar so just after Dipawali most of the drupaler belonging to bihar will be at there native to celebrate chatth puja . so we will miss the event .so from my view it would be better in October.

yes, most of the guys would be out for chatth puja at that time. We can do this only in october, Otherwise end of November would be too late :(
Can anyone suggest the dates ? How about 22-23 Oct ?

April to October - 6-7 months should be good enough for the prep. So anytime between 15 to 25th October would be good enough for the event. I assume there are no festivals for those 10 days and for those of us travelling from other parts of india, we too will get a few days before and after the event for travelling purpose. Agree with @Manjit.Singh - that weekend would be ideal.
