Seeing as how we positively failed to talk D8 in any detail last month, let's actually do some prep between now and next meetup!
To whit, here's things I think we could look at without too much hardship.
- Directory structure
- Anatomy of a theme
- Creating a custom theme
- Anatomy of a module
- What's included out of the box
- The module landscape for D8
- Twig
- CMI
- Major differences under the hood
If we get through all that lot we'll be doing well! We could probably spend an entire evening on Twig alone. Maybe we can do a deep dive thereafter?
I'll commit to bringing a working install with me that we can browse around, but it might be worthwhile if someone else were to have one ready just in case I'm late again!
