Search API 1.18 was released today to address a moderately critical security vulnerability. You can learn more in the security advisory:

Beyond the security update, this release also includes a few non-security module updates.

Remember: you have to update the WHOLE profile - not just the individual panopoly_* modules! Otherwise, you'll be missing important module updates/patches, and it isn't guarenteed to work.
