Hello,

Because there is noting about Piwik on this analytics group, I just want to tell you a little about it.

I have juste test the Piwik analytics tool (https://piwik.org/) and the corresponding drupal module (www.drupal.org/project/piwik). It is very easy to install and to use.

Re/ user analytics

Greetings from a drupal noob - just starting on a pet project. I hope this is the right forum for my question.

I'm building a product site which will rely on sponsorships from vendors. They want to know which products, reviews, forums, etc. users are clicking on, what are they commenting on, what are they rating positive/negative, which whitepapers are being downloaded, a competitive snapshot of vendor 1 vs. vendor 2 product popularity, etc.

As a starting point, can Google Analytics be configured to provide such information? It would be a lot of raw data, so I'm not sure how this can be compiled into a easy-to-digest/actionable report for the vendors. Doesn't have to be real time, maybe once a quarter would be sufficient. Are there other paid or free tools out there which would be a better fit?

Thanks much in advance,

Joe
