This month Beau Heath presented Drupal Project Management Workflow. Beau talked about the following topics:
- Managing site builds
- Prep/info gathering, alpha meeting and beta meeting (more specific to the site itself)
- working with third party vendors
- content transfer assessments
- Site reviews (first, second and additional reviews if necessary)
- QA testing and client training build content formats per role
- Soft and Hard launches
- Material design for the fronted (bootstrap option paper)
- Client follow-up
- Pitfalls
- last minute requests
- custom work that results in more work and does not make the client happy
- clients disregard your workflow and follow their own
- too many cooks in the kitchen
- Create punch lists (checklists with action items)
