This position will be the primary Drupal developer for the NOVOS open controls system project for National Oilwell Varco, located in Houston, Texas. As part of an agile team, this position will drive the development of a Drupal based website.
Maintain and support existing applications built on the Drupal platform ensuring site availabilityEngage in incident management, problem-solving and solution implementationContributing ideas and efforts towards internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions on various problems
Design and develop new web applications, forms, content management workflows leveraging DrupalCustom Drupal module development/ extend existing module functionality.Identify and report risks, issues, and dependencies of assigned tasks/projectsMonitor and perform regular site maintenance activities.

5+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL, and Java web services, HTML, and CSS.
3+ years of strong experience with Drupal Content Management System, including Drupal module installation, theming, customizing Drupal systems, including Drupal 7.
3+ years of experience configuring and working with the Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP stackGood understanding of Drupal core and custom module development including Drupal API, hooks etc.
Experience working with APIs, integrating with external web services including REST, XML or JSONKnowledge of modern web technologies and techniques (Node.JS, SASS, LESS, Responsive Design, etc.)
Experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, etc.
Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins etc.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professional standards and quality.
