Development configuration and modules
At this month's meeting, let's take a look at step-by-step instructions for employing Composer and the Configuration Split module to keep development configuration and modules out of a production environment.
Image cropping
For this Thursday's meeting, let's demo and discuss options for providing cropping functionality for images in Drupal 8—including how to use the Focal Point, ImageWidgetCrop, and Crop API modules.
Responsive logos
Can we also touch on used tactics/strategies for responsifying drupal's core logo blocks with breakpoints? A site's logo is arguably the first and one, if not the, most important image to appear - I've personally found it frustrating setting up a workaround solution to provide different sizes/pixel densities for this element.
Responsive logos
If there's time, we can discuss this. Otherwise, let's put it on the agenda for next month.
SVG
@W0LF, I recommend SVG. Happy to talk to you (or the group) abut some good techniques.
Meeting tonight!
Our monthly SeaDUG meeting is tonight. We'll be discussing how to keep development modules and configuration out of a production environment and options for cropping images within Drupal.
Absent
Not sure if this is the best/appropriate place to post, but I won't be able to attend tonight after all - was planning to! Will see you all in June!
