Hey gang, This needs a drupal marketing team heads-up, but I'm not sure where to post. Please look past, there is something broken. What I have spotted is damaging to Drupal as an entity.
I'm using BlueHost. After watching Dries on the Nashville video, I thought this issue needed some thought and consideration.
The BlueHost "One-Click" install is not working. I'm on "day 3" of a Job Ticket regarding this issue. Of course, I could do a quick Filezilla session to correct this in a few minutes, but I want to measure the response and outcome.
Why? The Nashville speech by dries, informed me of the many man hours that are being applied to making drupal easier for newbies, especially evaluators.
1) Bluehost has an active Ad Campaign running on YouTube; there should be a solid new customer spike as the result.
2) Any newbie researching what CMS to choose for their company will have to consider Drupal 8. Drupal is far too impressive to ignore.
3) These newbie evaluators are not normally techies types - One-Click install will most likely be their introduction to Drupal.
but............... it is not working and will only damage the drupal brand.
I believe most newbies, will flip-over to using Wordpress instead -- from this event. Mostly because their first experience with drupal was painful and unproductive time-consuming.
Not our problem? Of course it is.
Anything that counter-minds our marketing efforts are backward steps. Not only will this cost us a piece of the newbie market, but the long-term outcome is even more damaging. I'm talking about "word-of-mouth" -- the #1 marketing front door. We all hope to active the power of this door, but the public decides. Bad word of mouth, can last longer than I care to measure. :(
Suggestion: We need to ensure our Shared Hosts partners are reinforcing a positive image of our brand and not a damaging one - as I see here. In this particular case, we have BlueHost in the #1 spot for Shared Hosts to consider on our website. It looks like BlueHost is also a $$ drupal sponsor - so kids gloves on here.
Bigger brains than mine need to find a way to plug this damaging hole in our marketing image.

update
hello command control we have an issue
I just received this from BlueHost after waiting 3 days and getting to a higher level of support
"Overall, we're unable to properly do this installation of Drupal 8 for you. I have included the page from Drupal's homesite on how to manually install this CMS:
https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/install"
these are issues to watch-out for when forming alliances - this is neither good nor bad - but rather a simple adjustment
1) first question - why do we have Drupal 8 (One Click Install) Bluehost? It has never been our game to release something we know to be broken
2) Right now, this broken one-click install is acting as a lead generation for MoJo - I know in my heart this can't be intentional
suggestion
suggestion: remove all broken "one click" installs for shared host partners
if we are aiming for newbies, who are seasoned masters of their own trade (marketing, evaluator, bloggers) it is better to have nothing rather than posting something for use that is known not to work - our brand and hard-earned reputation is taking a rock in the head - ouch
correction
I used the phrase "hard-earned reputation" whereas I believe "our long-term standards of quaily control" might be more descriptive
correction
I used the phrase "hard-earned reputation" whereas I believe "our reputation has always had a solid foundation in the industry, for our high level of quality control standards --- might be more descriptive
