Hello,

I am very new to drupal and especially cck, sorry if my post isn't in the right place or the right kind (wanted to make a post but only found story).

I did install the module and created fields without problems. The big issue I have is that I can't see my fields on the website page properly, in edit mode for example, I can see a select list that I created but when I logout, the same select list isn't a list anymore, just a string.

It feels like all cck fields are for the use of the admin to create content from custom types, but I am pretty sure that it is possible to create forms for web visitors..

I just don't get why my select list is accessible only in edit mode, may be it is an access control matter, may be an option to set..
I did search on the web for some documenttation, tutorials and followed the ones I found but no luck so far.

If somebody could give a little tips to a newbie I would be grateful.

Thanks,
Clem

Yeah, CCK is normally used

Yeah, CCK is normally used to create content, and not forms for anonymous users.

What should the web forms you talk of be for?

You could for example create a content type and then on admin/user/permissions, you could allow anonymous users to create content with this type. But whether this is what you want really depends on what you want to accomplish.
