SeaDUG meeting this Thursday
Last month I proposed talking about the status of modules that were popular in Drupal 7 that have been slow to be ready for D8, such as Backup & Migrate, Rules, Feeds, XML Sitemap, Module Filter, and Better Exposed Filters. We didn't end up having time, since we were having so much fun discussing static site generators, so let's do it at this Thursday's meeting. If you have something else you'd like to propose, suggest it in a comment.
Remember that this month's meeting is in Slalom's office downtown.
Any special instructions on entering building and/or parking?
First thanks to Slalom for hosting. As this is new venue, do we need to do anything special to get into meeting space?
I know there is a bunch of parking down there but are there any suggestions?
Access
Good question. A SeaDUG member will be at the entrance to the building to provide access, starting at around 5:45. Anyone who arrives later than 6:10 or 6:15 will need to send a text to be let in, so please arrive as close to 6:00 as possible.
Meeting tonight!
Our regular monthly SeaDUG meeting is tonight. Don't go to Northwest Work Lofts, because we won't be there. We'll be at Slalom's office at 821 2nd Ave.
At the meeting tonight, we'll be talking about the status of modules that were popular in Drupal 7 that have been slow to be ready for D8, such as Backup & Migrate, Rules, Feeds, XML Sitemap, Module Filter, and Better Exposed Filters. I'm happy to lead the discussion, but your input is valuable, so please be prepared to share your knowledge and experience.
We'll also talk about methods to get a Drupal site up and running quickly in a local environment, plus the usual Drupal news and announcements.
Pizza, beer, and soft drinks will be provided by Slalom.
Parking info
There's a great site called Parkopedia that shows you parking options:
https://en.parkopedia.com/parking/locations/821_2nd_avenue_seattle_washi...
This link has the address in there and you can modify the hours in there to figure out best options depending on how long you are there.
And it's more accessible by bus than the old Fuse IQ location was so many of us are using that option.
Bummed I can't make it
Have a good mtg at the new venue!

Anyone else coming from Eastside?
Thinking about the bus, but if there are 3 of us we can use the carpool lane.
So let me know! I'm in Redmond area so anywhere along 520 is good.
