Demo and discussion of new features in Drupal 8.6

Dries says, "I firmly believe [8.6] is the most significant Drupal 8 release to date. It is significant because we made a lot of progress on all twelve of Drupal 8 core's strategic initiatives. As a result, Drupal 8.6 delivers a large number of improvements for content authors, evaluators, site builders and developers." We will take a look at the new features and discuss whether they live up to the hype.

Meeting tonight!

Join us tonight for another informative and fun SeaDUG meeting. This month we'll be demoing and discussing the recent release of Drupal 8.6, which contains many improvements and new features. We'll also talk about upcoming and recently occurring conferences, along with other Drupal news.

The meeting will again be held at Slalom's office downtown. Pizza, salad, beer, and other drinks will be provided by Slalom. Access to the 18th floor is restricted, so if you arrive later than about 6:15, you'll need to text for someone to come get you. The number will be on a note on the door; it is also posted in the #general channel of the SeaDUG Slack workspace.

I think I need to contact to admin to get an invite, otherwise I'm not sure how to join the channel, sorry for the slightly off-topic comment. Excited for the meeting anyway, I just remember three or four of us in the lobby last month, none of whom were on slack, I think.

NM, figured it out, I'm in
