Code in the Dark

I ran across this event, which sounds like it might be of interest to some of our Spokane Drupal people:

It's an event where people compete on stage at the Fox Theater on a Friday night, in several rounds, to code HTML and CSS to match a given design as closely as possible within 15 minutes. That's the "code" part; the "in the dark" part is that you can't preview until the time is up!

It sounds like fun -- you can attend as a contestant or watch in the audience, and they say newbies have as good a chance as more experienced coders, since they're just as likely to make a typo. :)
