Google Adsense - ads.txt file

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Can anyone tell me how to set up an ads.txt file on a domain?

Google began posting this notice a couple of days ago to what appears to be anyone who runs Google ads.

"Earnings at risk - One or more of your sites does not have an ads.txt file. Fix this now to avoid severe impact to your revenue."

I found this Drupal module which seems to address the issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/adstxt -- but I'm not entirely sure.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Have you installed the module you listed and tried to configure it?

Let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks so much for your reply! I took a look at the link you included in your response, and everything appears to be in working order there.

The link I have from Google is - https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7532444?hl=en.

I have not installed the module I listed, only because I wasn't sure that it would do what Google is asking. With only 14 commits and having been developed back in 2017 -- I just wasn't sure. However, I think I'll install it now, and see if it corrects the issue for Google. It can take up to 48 hours for Google to receive the information so - it's a bit of a wait and see at this point. But, I'll keep you posted and let you know if it works.

Thanks again!

I think the manual process is fairly straight forward as well. Creating a txt file and uploading it to your website. Let me know if I can help.
