Global Contribution Weekend 2020 - Zurich

We'll be helping to contribute to Drupal core and contrib modules as part of the Drupal Global Contribution Weekend.

Join us as we collaborate together with the global Drupal community and work on Drupal contribution tasks ranging from core Drupal issues to contrib modules as well as non-coding contributions for Drupal globally and the Drupal Switzerland association.

What will we work on?

We will collect & publish contribution topics as we get closer to the event. Ideas so far:

• First time contribution workshop
• Getting Drupal Contrib Modules ready for Drupal 9
• GraphQL Twig, Gin, Claro
• Diversity & Inclusion Speaker Training

Who is it for?

Everybody has something to contribute
Drupal is made possible by a very diverse group of people around the globe using a huge variety of skills including but not limited to user experience design, project management, development, planning, testing, bug reporting, performance analysis, integration, triage, event organization, marketing, session recording, photography, translations, book authoring, and the list goes on and on. Some examples:

Translators — Your are good in a written language other than English? We need you!
Content Strategists — Want to work on reorganizing the documentation and improving the content quality? We need you!
Project Managers — You want to bring forward certain initiatives and know how to build a team with different expert skill sets and how to facilitate the progress? We need you!
Marketeers — You have ideas for advancing the promotion of Drupal and need a team? And you are good at sharing your strategy insights? We need you too!

No matter what your experience is, new or advanced, you can help make Drupal better.

How to participate

Please bring your laptop. For new folks: you can get a head start by also making an account on Drupal.org, getting some contribution tools, and developers can install git before coming and git clone Drupal 8 core.
