Tory Gobat and Rick Hawkins will discuss and demo a recently launched Drupal 9 site they helped build. Topics will include:
- Importing data from an external API using Migrate
- Employing Layout Builder, building custom layouts, and adding third-party settings for a flexible editorial experience
- Leveraging Drupal's plugin system with custom plugins and plugin types
- Building search functionality with Search API, Solr, and Facets
- Generating custom entity types to hold content that doesn't need to be displayed on its own page
- Building a component-driven theme and pattern library with Tailwind CSS, Alpine JS, and Storybook
- Creating and using a comprehensive collection of image styles and responsive image styles
- Integrating with external services
