I want to thank effulgentsia and Craftyspace for hosting the first meeting of the Eugene Drupal User's Group. _lunatic3 and I had a great time. We're both from Extanto, a Drupal dev house in Eugene. Something Extanto could at a meeting is demonstrate some of the techniques we use for infrastructure. We use Bazaar as our repository, with Eclipse and the Bazaar plugin on our development machines. It really is quite slick, and we'd be down with showing how we put it together. Any interest?

Hi Marshall-
Do you have contact info for the person who admins the UO Libraries Drupal intranet? He was at the meeting.

Article: Drupal Goes Hosted With Private Beta Launch of "Gardens"

Featuring Drupal 7, the service looks like it will be WordPress for the Drupal world; i.e., hosted, "easy start" interface for personal sites on up.

The initial distribution of beta-keys may be over (?).
When's the next meeting?
I'd like to hear from the Extanto guys on their dev setup. I've missed the meetings so far, but would like to start attending. I'm an independent with a couple Drupal sites under my belt now and I want to dig a little deeper.
