Continuation of http://drupal.org/node/164940. Any responses to the following would be appreciated:
Shipping
- is it possible to assign fixed shipping prices per SKU? I'm looking at Flexicharge which seems to insist that shipping costs are assigned by weight.
- is it possible to implement different shipping levels (standard, next day, overnight) using Flexicharge?
- is it possible to restrict shipping to only domestic (Australia) deliveries?
Sub Products
- is it possible to re-generate product variations after changes to the main product
- if one of the variations causes a price change (e.g. different size is a different price) is it possible for that to be displayed before the user adds to their cart
Don't see too many responses in this group, but am holding out for any pointers ...

Info...
When completeing a purchase, you are prompted by default to choose your billing and shipping address from a drop down list of addresses in your address book. If you only enter one address when creating your account, then this address is the default in both of these address boxes.
Not sure if anything has changed with the latest releases of ecommerce and the paypal module, but the version I am using requires the purchaser to re-inter their info on the paypal site for credit card purchases, however if they log into paypal, they would have their address saved there.
Hope this helps.

"When completing ..." >> I
"When completing ..." >> I think this only applies to logged in users? I would like anonymous/flexible purchasing.
So if they are not logged in to my site, and are not existing Paypal users, they end up entering their address upto three times.
Well that depends on your settings
If you allow anonymous purchasing, then they would not need to enter an address on your site, but they would at the paypal site, or log into their paypal account, which would already have this info for them...
I enabled e-commerce's
I enabled e-commerce's address module in order to capture their shipping address. However this requests billing + shipping, causing duplicate entries, then routes the user to Paypal where (if they are new users) causes triplicate entries ...
Ubercart doesn't have these issues, but has some quirks displaying non-US states.
Only if they want it
The purchaser only needs to enter seperate billing and shipping details if they want the product shipped somewhere else. I may be mistaken, however I think having to then enter your address at paypal is a requirement of paypal, not a fault of ecommerce, unless you are willing to sign up for a more costly paypal merchant account, then this data can be passed with the transaction.
Could you elaborate as to
Could you elaborate as to what your configs are to achieve this - or indicate whether they are too complex and therefore timeconsuming for you to describe. Thanks.
correct
You'd need "Website Payments Pro" to keep the forms entirely on your site.
If you're using "Website Payments Standard" (or is it "Basic"? ...whichever) then you're stuck re-entering address information on Paypal.com
Could you elaborate as to
Could you elaborate as to what your configs are to achieve this? I am (obviously) having issues figuring this out, because with e-commerce + paypal + address I get:
FYI - With Ubercart the address information is forwarded to Paypal without expensive vendor account
