I'm open to anywhere, and look forward to seeing more locations around Houston.
At some point I want to host one (as you listed, 1331 Gemini, Houston, 77058) - but it can be just about anytime.
Teahouse is a good idea.
Teahouse is a good idea. Thinking you probably meant Te house of Tea, but there is also the bubble tea place called Teahouse at Westheimer and Shepherd that has a big room in the back.

I did, in fact, mean that Te house of Tea place. Teahouse is a pretty good spot too. It's just a little hidden.
inner loop
I voted for the tea house, but would actually prefer any inner loop location. Very much not crazy about driving the 59 during rush hour.
Take (Alt)-90
90 is pretty much a straight shot, with far less traffic. May make more sense to start later than the last meeting too... only reason I started as early as I did is so that I could try to cram all that in. It would have been better to split up the event.

What with reservations needing to be made at some places, it seemed prudent to put this horse before the cart. May put up a poll for format of the next meeting though. I'd like to lead another discussion. On Form API maybe.... The basics of Form API aren't all that bad, it's just when you get to doing things like multistep forms and ajax hooks that things start getting a little hairy.

We got Caroline Collective for our meetups!
Caroline Collective is located in Mid/down town Houston, it's a co-working space created jut for such deals, and since this is the Houston Drupal group, I'd love to see it stay in Houston.
As I was typing this comment I got a call from Caroline Collective, and we have the main space available for us, for next Tue. March 30th at 7pm, if there's no other business going on using the projector there, we can have full use of it too. Also Pizza (or any other food) and BYOB are fully supported and encouraged!

While a valiant effort, this poll doesn't look like it's going to be terribly productive. We seem to be pretty much split, so regardless of where we meet half the people will be unhappy.
My suspicion is that if we continue to hold meetings in town many suburbanites will continue to join in as they have in the past, whereas if the meetings are held in Sugar Land the urban contingent that has participated much longer will get left behind. I don't feel that this would be fair to those people.
Caroline Collective exists to support communities like this, and we probably should have made it our home long ago.

Howdy All,
I am just jumping into Drupal and Katherine told me about this group when we were at SXSW... it looks like the poll is closed - but I would choose Caroline Collective as the meeting place. Course I am bit biased due to being the first tenant to sign up for officer space there. I am no longer renting space there but I do still love it.
