Making phpBB Profile Default

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

How do I make the profile edit/view for phpBB instead of Drupal?
Also, when the phpBB profile email gets edited, it also edits drupal email.

There is no support for this in the phpBB 2.x version of this module. It's a design decision, you have to modify phpBB (not Drupal) to make it update Drupals database.

The phpBB 3.x version of the module uses phpBBs new UCPs to modify account information.
