How to install drupal
Hey!guys please tell me how to install drupal to my site coz im not familiar with mysql,could i build my site in drupal & transfer files to my ftp account(like blogspot.com).please help me.

only basic mysql knowledge is needed...if u use 5.2
download the tarball - http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/drupal-5.2.tar.gz
untar the file ..
tar -xzf drupal-5.2.tar.gz
in your document root (or your desired location).
read the INSTALL.txt file and INSTALL.mysql.txt
type http://yourserver.com/ in your browser and the install script is fired up.
