What is your interest, how should we go about developing an Ottawa Drupal community? Plan a few informal get together's, organize the first DrupalCampOttawa...?? Join forces and organize an event in Montreal for the Quebec - Montreal - Ottawa corridor? Go on our own way?
gosling has informal meets at the Black Bear Pub in Ottawa, every Friday, at 16:30 - is that a good idea we could reuse? What time and where?

weekly meeting sounds good to start
I have recently discovered Drupal, and have added it to my toolkit. Meeting like-minded people would be great! I have 1 site under my belt thus far (my business site), having converted it from static pages to Drupal 4.7. See webgauge.ca.

OK Ottawa! What Next?.... Not sure but keep me in the loop.
I am new to this Drupal thing but it seems to be a good solution to a lot of problems. I am currently in the process to use it on my personal site to learn a few things, and use that knowledge to implement it within our GOC intranet.
Please keep me informed of any new things or events happening.

Meeting at same time as GOSLING
That would work out great for those of us who already get together weekly for GOSLING. There could be a specific subset of the room that discusses Drupal, although there will need to be some way for the Drupal folks to find each other among the general FLOSS and GOSLING folks.

OK, so Black Bear Pub, this Friday? I'll be there this week to see if we can get Drupal-folk together and decide where to go from there. Looks like I have been missing out on Open Source goings-on here in Ottawa (didn't know about gosling).

Hey Patrick,
I do like the idea of coupling a drupal gathering with goslings.. Rather hard time for folks to get together at this end of the summer though.. I would like to do something in September though. What about Sept 15th?

Acidfree module
Flash Gallery has been added to the CLF site, under the menu item Drupal in Flash.
The acidfree module is great for windows and quicktime video, but seems not to work for real, which needs a meta file if the video is to be embedded in a page.
