A reminder that we have our March meetup scheduled for Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 pm, at the St. Louis Artists' Guild.
The Artists' Guild is located in Oak Knoll Park in Clayton. Enter the park from Big Bend Blvd. about 0.25 mile north of Clayton road, or about 0.35 miles south of Wydown Blvd. Shortly after entering, veer to the right and park in the large lighted parking lot. Walk toward the main entrance, but as you approach, notice there is a side door to the right with a wheel chair ramp. Enter through this side door.

Once inside, proceed down the first short hall, make a sharp (hairpin) turn to the right. The conference room is at the end of this second short hall. We'll try to get signs up on the wall pointing to this room.

I've had some things just come up which prevents my coming to this meeting. My apologies for such extreme short notice.
I was hoping to talk about Drupal Gardens, since I just got my login this week. Looks really neat. You can basically design a full site (in D7, I believe), and then export it to your our hosting environment.
It uses a slightly customized hosting environment, but I believe the exported sites can be readily tweaked to run under Apacce.
next time
thanks for checking in, sorry you can't make it.
Some modules
It was great to meet you all tonight. Here are some of the modules I referenced during our meeting:

See you next time!

And just fyi, you can see how we do a lot of stuff on the Archdiocesan website (at least, from the editors' end) using the users manual and videos here:

Just thought it might be helpful - especially for image and file handling functionality.
great meeting
It was nice to see everyone.
We have tentatively planned the next meeting for April 29 (fifth Thursday) at the same location. Bryan and I will confirm that the room is available for that date and post back.
MailChimp
This isn't exactly Drupal related - but MailChimp was mentioned at the last meeting as service for sending mass emails. I noticed that they have a referral program: $30 for the referrer and referee. Would any of you be interested in referring me?
MailChimp
I was the one who mentioned MailChimp.
I'd be glad to help out. What does one have to do to be the referrer and/or the referree?
Michael
MailChimp
Michael,
I'll need to use a referral link that you provide. Your link can be found by logging in -> Account -> Monkey Rewards -> Text Link Code.
