For those of us present last night for Michael's talk on Themeing... Saw this post http://groups.drupal.org/node/5804 and noted that it had a link to the free, downloadable chapter of the Pro Drupal Development book we discussed. Perhaps more importantly, there is a free online class/seminar you can sign up for on themeing taught by the author...

Same lesson better instructor
If you are interested in building a theme from scratch check out the next Dojo lesson by Matt Westgate. Looks like he is going to do the same thing I attempted to do at our last meeting. Build a Drupal theme from a html/css design. Basically, I followed Chapter 8 from the Pro Drupal Development book and used my own example. Only difference between he and I is he wrote the book! You can watch it live or catch it in reruns.
Either way get your free copy of chapter 8.
