Synopsis for Broward Drupal Meetup held on April 7th 2010:
We had five people attend the first Broward Meetup.
After initial introductions, three people gave presentations (location has flat screen TV with VGA connection)
Below is a summary of the presentations:
I gave a quick demonstration of Drupal Gardens
Chris presented Drush Make and Drush
Sammy presented Aegir and gave a quick demonstration of Zen theming
We discussed holding regular meetups in Broward on the second Wednesday of the month. We have already scheduled the next meetup for Wednesday, May 12 at the same location (see separate event for details on this meetup).
We discussed topics for the next meetup: DrupalCon summary, Context module, Features and Zen theming
We decided to keep location of the meetup for the next few months ( Coffee is only ten feet away ). The start time of the meetup will also remain the same (7pm) for the time being (this will give people time to drive from Miami and Palm Beach if they want to attend).
