I know a number of the Fresno Drupalers are planning to attend Drupal Con next week. We would like to meetup and hang out. It occurred to me that we could use a Twitter HashTag like #fdug (Fresno Drupal Users Group). So, who is going to SF?

I'll be taking the train up there on Sunday morning and staying at the Westin.

I'll be there!! Wes, you may want to look into getting a ride with someone. There are a lot of people from fresno going up there.
Hey good idea on Amtrak.
Hey good idea on Amtrak. Didn't think of that. I was planning on driving but will check out rail.
Train
I don't have to pay a dime... got work to spring for the entire trip. Hence i'm not sleeping on a friends couch while there
Parking
FYI - check with your hotel if you need to store/park your garage. Some just quote the room rental... and then hit you with a parking surcharge from anywhere from $12 to $30. Some offer in and out privileges and some don't. You might want to check.

I'm heading up Saturday and staying at Parc 55. We should establish a way to communicate while we are there. Using #fdug on Twitter sounds like a good idea for announcing impromptu meetups. Is that mobile enough for everyone?
Twitter
is there a way, in any of the iphone twitter apps, to watch for certain hashes?
I use TweetDeck on the iPhone
I use TweetDeck on the iPhone and you just add a search term as a column. E.g., I just added #drupalcon and #fdug as columns to keep up with tweets with those hash tags.
Awesome!
Thanks for the recommend... does tweetdeck do push notifications of mentions or DM's?
Yes, TweetDeck shows mentions

You can save searches in Tweetie but it will be free soon. I am unaware of an app that sends alerts on a search.
