I am looking for a quick recommendation for a trusted company where we can buy a few Costa Rican domain registrations (mysite.co.cr). Can anyone point me in the right direction? Google results turns up dozens and we can't determine which are trusted and which are affiliate resellers. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer.

you can buy the domain on Nic.cr (the official domain name registration on CR) all the information is in spanish, but the rates are:

Many people don't see use in buying Costa Rica domains, unless you get a short & sounding name you won't get elsewhere.
Then you have to proof that you are in that business for the extension you apply for:

And it costs a lot, so then comes the realization: why should I ? Yes, to look more professional as you pay more and your papers are checked for an official domain. Many just take a normal domain name (org, com, net, info) with cr in it; like drupalcr.org. Or mix a Costa Rican expression like "Pura Vida", then you get puradrupal.org or drupalvida.org or drupvida.org... Actually I think I gave a nice name away with my last remark... (hope someone will use it for non-commercial reasons)
