There has been some discussion about having a part face-to-face, part virtual PEI Drupal Users meetup at some point in the near future. There is a lot of Drupal happening on PEI, so I personally believe this is a fantastic idea.
This can be the virtual whiteboard for organizing such a meetup. This is a Wiki page, so edit away! -Ryan
Proposed Agenda
- Discuss interest in a "Drupal Day of Action", where developers would gather together and create Drupal sites for NGOs, Not for profit, and other charitable organizations in the local community (suggested by Danny).
- Review some high-profile PEI-based Drupal installations (Ryan)
Date/Time/Venue Suggestions
- Matt suggested that we try to organize a face-to-face meeting with everyone over the Christmas holidays
- Danny suggested possibly being able to use the new IP conferencing room planned for l'Ecole François-Buote as a venue.
Teleconference details
- technical requirements for participation?
- Using Drupal Dojo method of conferencing, if the need to demonstrate some code, pages, slides, etc. on a PC.
Attendees
- Ryan Palmer (remotely from South Africa as of Nov 22/07)
