Hi guys
I have a group of artists that are promoted by one manager. I want them to sign up on the manager's site (a drupal core site) and be able to create their own music stores (upon getting the right permissions).
These individual stores will be selling downloads (music, videos, screen savers) all media will have a preview, (audio & video with a 1 min clip; screen savers with a thumbnail)
Each artist will have their own paypal or payment gateway associated with their store, and a subdomain or url like website.com/artistname or artistname.website.com
Is there any way I could do such a thing with Ubercart?

I also, wants to build a eCommerce site for Researchers/Developers and providers of professional EU-RTD-IBIK services.
I dont have spare time and money to install, develop and test now and also I dont know really how to start. This is the third time that I try to install and I dont have success: sql errors, blank pages, no transactions....

I start offering to cooperants the Dedicated Apache Server It is a new, clean 50GB Unix, Apache server.
Next steps: list the interested participants; designate a PM to coordinate the efforts and divide tasks/works and a server Adminstrator to manage the areas of work and permissions.

Ubercart has something set up to do what you are asking for. It is called Ubercart Livetest. It is a site specifically set up for community testing of the latest code and features available for Ubercart. If you want administrator privileges, just ask one of the admins.

There is no perfect way to do what you are asking. One problem is that PayPal expects only one URL per domain for the IPN callback. Actually, it may be one URL per PayPal account. I can't remember, but I know we had some issues with trying to tie more then one PayPal account to the same e-commerce domain.
Probably the best way to do what you are talking about is to create a separate Ubercart installation for every artist who registers. That way the artists can't see orders for other artists. You can use the Ubercart Installer to make this easier.

Hey all,
Is it possible (if not separate payments), to have a shop with multiple stores?.
I will be running one from Australia, and my mate one from the UK. We both go 50-50 with purchase of items, and whichever store sells more, then profits go into more products.
One of the reaons for this, is Australians wouldn't want to wait for a UK delivery.
I guess the problem is, if we buy 50 items for each store, it is the same product, but different price, shipping etc, so would this mean we would need to duplicate the items twice?, one for UK< one for Aus?
Any help is REALLY appreciated =)
