We had another successful Tallahassee Drupal Meetup this past Tuesday. 9 people were in attendance with varying Drupal experience from beginners launching their first sites to seasoned Drupal developers. We owe a thanks to Lobbytools for again donating their conference room for the meet-up. Also a big thanks to Susan Cambpell for providing the food for this meet-up.
James Tillman gave an awesome and thorough presentation on the various access control modules available to Drupal. Judging by the comments made after his presentation I think he collectively saved the group a months worth of work hours. Following James, Marc Ray gave a quick rundown on the Migrate and Table Wizard modules and their uses for content migration. For the next hour people gathered in groups to tackle various questions from those attending covering topics like custom modules, data structures, integration of third party data and image workflows. Overall the attendance at this meet-up is holding strong and anyone interested in attending can sign up at: http://tallydrupal.eventbrite.com/
Also note that we are closing down our own site, drupaltally.rightsprocket.com, to foster communication and growth of the Florida Drupal group. North Florida folks unleash your questions here :)
