In this screencast I go over some of the Views functionality in MERCI and how we're leveraging this at DOM to expose the ration of equipment usage to video submitted. I also discuss a little of why attempts to strictly dictate reservation to video doesn't work in a user managed, non 30/60 grid model like DOM. Any system that ranks a well produced 5 minute music video that took a weekend of studio time with multiple cameras and hours of edit station time rendering After Effects and editing as "worth" less than a hour long video ripped from a DVD is flawed.
It rewards long content over good content.
