And see how a social networking site like Friendster can indeed be built with Drupal 5.6

Anyway i dislike friendster because almost all profiles of teenage girls and young women with all their personal pictures ARE LEFT PUBLIC and anybody can save the pictures (not even watermarking)

So this will cause safety issues in Malaysia. Mind you Myspace was laden with paedophiles and predators.

As for Friendster, it is popular in Malaysia and Philipines (2nd after the US)

The Friendster guy also had an office in KL

And i also dislike Google Adsense and annoying banners

The word Friend' is misused, teenagers are being reckless with their profiles and personal pics, and we do not want to someday in Malaysia many more young women and children are missing, abducted byfriends' they meet in Friendster

Again, i am an ACTIVIST first, trainer (adult and youth) and business person third, and i care about the future, and the youth, and my works are relevant , like what i built and gave for the Malaysians sites like

Dolphin is not conducive though it is interesting. So's ELGG, and PHPzabi.

I'd say Drupal is still the best SMS in the market thus far and would stick to it. I've tried Dzoic Handshake, but its a pain when you buy s/w only to realise you can't tweak anything

which one is preferred? Image, Acidfree, Gallerix, Node_Images, Gallery2?

I learned that Gallery2 will support image as a node type, thus better handling especially integration with OG. But this will only be supported in D6. so, I am still ...waiting.... and works on something else.

For this site, my 2 cents opinion is, a little work on site usability and custom theming might improve the site's apprearance.

Anyhow, it's job well done.

I've tried to implement Acidfree but it was giving so much problems on our server, so I opted for Image - that solves the facility, but the problem is it can become 'complicated' for non-techie users.
