I was at the meeting yesterday (great topic/demos btw) and I realized that I should probably take a few PHP, MySQL, design classes. Does anyone have any suggestions for organizations, colleges, etc that teach those kinds of classes?
OR any introduction books that you think are worthwhile? I'd rather take classes and be able to get feedback from an instructor but I know thats not always available.
Any input would help a lot! Thanks!

Idea Foundry
I've done some jQuery training for Idea Foundry in Holland. They might have some options for you.

The book I used
I started learning PHP by reading SAMS Teach Yourself PHP, MySQL and Apache. After that, I used http://www.w3schools.com/ as a reference for when I would forget stuff.
Good luck! I hope you find something that works for you.
Some files
Here is a copy of the 2003 edition:

It's a little older but still very relevant.
Also, this is a pretty good title:

Sorry for missing the meeting last night. I had to work late :(
Hopefully fate will be a little kinder next month... Hope you all had fun!
Till then,

Lynda & O'Reilly
I bought a subscription to lynda.com, which I think is really useful if you can stand to sit there for hours on end. I've also been reading the O'Reilly book alongside my Lynda studies.
PHP training
I've done a LOT of PHP training in the last 10 years, I could do some tutoring for you. In the long run it would probably be a lot cheaper than taking a full class at a uni. Drop me an email if you're interested, topher@t1kdev.com
Thanks everyone for your
Thanks everyone for your help!
I picked up a book from the library yesterday: SAMS Teach it Yourself Ajax, Javascript and PHP. Not exactly what I was looking for... but it was the only one available atm. I also put holds on some of the books you guys mentioned.
@topher: I might have to take you up on that offer if I get completely overwhelmed (which probably will happen). Thanks!
