Is it possible to set eC to have multiple users upload digital goods such as e-books, stock images, zips, etc... Have them set a price and if a customer downloads a digital good, I get a cut from the profit, while they are automatically credited via Paypal?
Also regarding the upload of digital goods, is there a way to have users be able to upload files, because the file product requests for file path, I wouldn't see how it would be possible to have users upload via ftp, frankly I wouldn't want them to have access to that. Thanks in advance.

With PayPal, you can't split
With PayPal, you can't split up a payment like that. You're either going to have to collect all the money yourself and send them their portion or charge them listing fees in advance a la eBay.
I don't like the idea of
I don't like the idea of charging a listing fee, however I don't mind if I collect the money and send out their share by the end of the month, but I was wondering if this can all be done via Paypal instead of sending out checks. Is there a way to track how much a user has earned and on the flip have the user be able to see how much he has made? Also since I want to send money via Paypal how do I force a valid Paypal account so contributers can receive payment?

eC v4 will be able to do this.
Yes this will be available in eC4.
We have rewritten the files support so it is much better in being able to download files. But also what has been mostly developed is a commissions module which calculate the commission of the sale and pay this who ever you like. In your case this will be the owner of the digital product.
Then it will (soon) turn this into a receipt which will then be paid to the author.
How this will be paid will be able to be done in any method that supports payments to customers. PayPal will be the first, but if a payment gateway supports pay to then we will be able to support this in e-Commerce.
An example is that a cheque payment gateway could be created for the sole purpose of printing a cheque to be posted to the author.
Most of this is here now in ec4, but these is still work to be done.
