This is for myself, or at least the company that employs me, but I thought it would be good information for anyone that does pop past the Drupal group here:
Do we have some freelance and permanent Drupal experiences (at any level) developers in South Africa? How's the availability of them in terms of time and employment ratio? What salary or hourly rates apply.
Gotta tell you, I have done some freelance work, but I have no idea what the market looks like or what one should offer as a salary for such a developer. We'll need to employ someone like this in the near future (likely end August) and I need to put it in the budget now. any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Of course, if someone isn't readilly available for a full time position, we'll have to look at contract work.
