Hi guys!
Nice to see a nor-cal group exists. :) Is there anyone out there in the greater Butte county area? The Humboldt meetings look really interesting and I'd love to see something like that happen in maybe Chico, Oroville, Paradise, or somewhere else within reasonable driving distance.

July sounds good. Evenings are best for me, and not the 1st week of the month. Other than that, my schedule's pretty flexible.
It should be interesting, I think, to see how many people come with a little promotion.

I'm the current chair for the SacDUG but I grew up in Chico/Durham and I'm up there a lot. If you need anything let me know. It would be nice to have some Drupal Peeps up in my hometown. One suggestion that has helped us a bit was using Meetup as a secondary channel to groups.drupal.org.

I just submitted a request to start a group page for Chico and Surrounding Butte County. That way we can move to that instead of a thread, get a meetup scheduled and start building our Drupal community in Chico/Butte County. I will let you know when they approve the group. Where should we have it in Chico?
I will look into reserving a room at a Round Table Pizza in Chico on the 2nd Wednesday. I can borrow a projector from work.
I can share what I know about the new features in Drush 5. If its more of a beginner group I can show how to quickly subtheme.

Drupal Chico!
There was supposed to be a Drupal Chico meeting tonight, but I dropped the ball on arranging a location.
If anyone is interested in a meeting this month let me know and we can reschedule. I did learn a neat trick with taxonomy menu & views that I wanted to share. :-D
Barring that, the next regularly scheduled meeting is July 11th.
