WebEnabled has generously proposed a contest for our local group. We will provide at least 10 qualifying feature suggestions, and they'll pick the best one and award the author a one year premium developer plan ($119.40 value). A qualifying suggestion is one that could be added to their roadmap. ("Lame" suggestions don't count.) Submit your suggestions in the comments on this post. We'll see what kind of quality and volume of suggestions we get before putting a time limit on it. Watch this thread for updates. Add ability to delete contrib modules via Drush web interface
I guess I'll get the ball rolling. :) The Drush management web interface is great, particularly the Modules page. One thing I'd like to be able to do there is delete contrib modules that I've downloaded. I think that's the only thing one would have to SSH in to do.
File Manager
I know that WE is meant for developers but we have some designers/themers that we work with as well.
While they are familiar with FTP/SFTP they might benefit from some sort of web file manager similar to what you get with a godaddy account or CPanel interface.
I think a basic one would suffice, but to be able to visually see the files in a project as well as upload/download/delete/modify would be pretty handy.
phpMyAdmin gives those of us that don't do SQL from the command line a way to deal with our databases. I think a filemanager would give those who don't do well with SSH a way to deal with their project files from within WE.
What do you think?
Here's a simple ui improvement I'd like to see...
When adding an application from the pop-up window, it would be nifty if there was a simple filter mechanism to filter apps by platform or type. i.e. show only Drupal apps or Wordpress apps. I could see wanting to filter by app type too such as blog or ecommerce.
I've roughed in some sample links where I would expect to see that. A drop down may be a better ui component to do this though:

Agreed. I would also want the ability to filter by price range on marketplace items. e.g. Free, Under $5, Under $20, etc.
Drush Management GUI
After downloading and adding projects to the Drush Interface, it would be nice to see the dependencies that the module has before enabling it and getting dependency error messages. Right now it shows the Package, Name, Status and Version on the main page and you have to click on the name to get the depedency info on a seperate page. It would be nice if it worked more like the module page in a Drupal install and show the "Requires" at a top level.
Git Support
I don't expect to amaze anyone with this, but I'd like to see Git version control supported. Particularly with Drupal moving to Git, I think there's great potential in supporting it.
