I was talking to Derek, the ops manager at FCV, and suggested a code sprint for drupal at FCV.
He is potentially interested, but I'll have to sell it. So posing the question to this group, would you all be interested in a code sprint in Vancouver, I know there is one upcoming in Seattle as well in July 25-27, or the more the merrier?
If so, what weekend, and any topics in particular, drupal 7, documentation, your pet project?
A section of the 11th floor here has not been setup yet, and has a bunch of various desks and chairs. Also there is a kitchen and a bubble hockey table.
Thanks
Audrey

Some suggestions from the Meet-up
The Work at Play folks suggested that there is a nodequeue patch to support machine names that needs to be tested (http://drupal.org/node/817558), and Boris championed the outstanding issues for Drupal 7.
Something on the small side might be a good idea for a one day affair with an unknown number of participants. Let's start with a win, even if it's a small win :-)
Looking forward to this.
Chris
UPDATE: added link to nodequeue patch.
Good news, it's a go ahead! I
Good news, it's a go ahead!
I have contacted both webchick and chx, and they are excited with this codesprint.
At least 4 people from FCV will show up.
Also, last but not least it will co-incide with chx's birthday.
what's the date for the Vancouver code sprint?
Sounds interesting, and I would like to attend. What is the date for the Vancouver code sprint?
