Mark your calendars for DrupalCamp LA 2010, Saturday & Sunday, August 7-8th, 2010, taking place at the University of California, Irvine campus in the city of Irvine, Orange County, California. Registration is now open. Attendance is free.
This is two days of free unconference-style Drupal training, founded in the style of BarCamp. This is the second year we've hosted this event at UCI. Last year was a huge success with over 500 attendees, four tracks and over 60 hours of sessions, most of which have screencasts available.
Lunch at the cafeteria costs $9/day, or bring your own. Parking costs $8/day (there is permit reciprocity for folks from the other UC campuses). The campus has housing available if you wish to stay overnight.

Wish could have been there, but I'm currently working for California Maritime Academy, and am in the Pacific Ocean somewhere east of Kamchatka. That said, would be great if someone can post up any insights you had from the camp, or let us know where to look on http://2010.drupalcampla.com if you post anything up.
