I'm proposing to (volunteer to) develop a Drupal-CiviCRM site for a local non-profit. The staff seems convinced that Drupal is a good fit for the main site, but would like some reassurance on the CiviCRM part. I'd like to touch base with other local non-profits that have adopted CiviCRM--or contact local site developers to see if I can learn more about their clients' use of CiviCRM. Do you know of local non profits that have deployed CiviCRM for their contribution pages and internal donor tracking?
Thanks!

mixed on CiviCRM
Hi
My company (Fuse IQ) is a local company who works with many non-profits. We do lots of Drupal sites and have done a few CiviCRM sites. CiviCRM can be a really affordable and useful tool, but beware. If it will meet your requirements right out of the box, then go for it. If your project will require lots of customization, has a complex organizational structure, lots of custom fields, complex design, you don't know Smarty or know how to set up CiviMAIL--be careful. And for performance, you will probably need a dedicated or virtual dedicated server. You might also wait until 2.0 which I think is in beta.
