With Grace Cafe charging for meeting space, I think Charlotte and Jonathan were talking about an alternate place.
I suggest that one of the items we discuss is how best to plan meetings and notify the group about meetings. I know Jonathan organized this group and Charlotte has done a LOT of the work. Perhaps we can divide up some responsibilities, etc. I think a lot of people have said they are not getting emails as they should when things are posted here.
I wasn't for a time, but seem to be now.

For what it's worth, my new DUG uses meetup.com (http://www.meetup.com/SFDUG-San-Francisco-Drupal-Users-group) with much success. I think the g.d.o is still there for them, but meetup is where they seem to do most of the stuff. It's not free, but perhaps the SADUG could find a sponsor?

It's a free service. Don't know if it has white board capacity, though.
