It seems I now have had to re-join the Orange County GDO group for about the fifth time this year. I joined ages ago and suspiciously my membership to this group was removed multiple times - conveniently after I post event nodes to this group. Early in the year when this happened I thought it was an issue with GDO (growing pains going to D6), but now that I have seen this happen repeatedly I can only assume someone is abusing powers or there is a fundamental flaw with this groups' node/permissions.
I also find it odd that there is only one (online) OC User Group Organizer, and the person who actually does the real organizing the meetups (Jason Gordon) is not marked or listed as an Organizer here preventing me members from contacting him directly.
If anyone else has experienced this issue please comment below. If I come to find my account is not a part of this group again then I will be submitting a formal issue report (and/or complaint) to the site admins asking them to look into what could be the cause (human or not).
