Log in as this user admin feature?

Hi,

One issue that is plaguing me is that when troubleshooting the new kabissa site, the site looks different for different roles. Is there a module for "log in as this user" available? I had a dig around but did not find it. It would help me a great deal to respond to queries from people who tell me things are not working for them but they work fine from my login.

I have signed up for next week's meetup and will try to come religiously now. It's just too durned hard to get away from my family on weekday evenings and into Seattle from Bainbridge Island. Maybe it's time to start a Bainbridge DUG... any takers? :)

Cheers,

Tobias

I like the Masquerade module

I like the Masquerade module for checking the site as another user role, but I do not use it a lot. Whether you use it or not, it's always good to have some test users set up for each user role. You can block test users access to the site until you want to use them in admin/user/user to keep the test users under your control.

In the past I've handled

In the past I've handled this by installing a few different browsers and logging each one in as a different user, especially if I want to cycle between tweaking settings as admin and trying them as a regular user or anonymous visitor. Doesn't scale so well to many roles, but handy for simple things.

Devel Modul provide this feature
