Hey there.
I'm looking into moving over from a current stable e-Commerce 3, to the new (and still Alpha according to the Drupal project page) 4, however after looking over the code, I have a question!
There are a number of modules missing from the current v4 download available on drupal.org - including "generic", "parcel", "payment", "tangible" and "tax". Could you state the current status of the development on of these portions of the e-Commerce suite? Even just a short note on each of them (or anything else that may be missing?)
Thanks,
Daniel

We are still in heavy development and some modules in this list will be upgraded and so have been depreciated.
generic, payment, tangible, and tax have been depreciated.
Generic is now build into the product module, and is the base for any new products, and tangible is just a generic product which has the availability and shippable product features.
The tax module is going to be done in the future by the ec_charge module so you should be able to set up any type of tax in a much more flexible method.
