Love to have some Drupal sessions (2-5 minute lightning talks, demos, discussions about questions, all the way to full blown presentations) at BarCamp Vancouver (a 24 hour period probably starting the evening of Friday August 25th)
A "Bar Camp" is a "unconference" like DrupalCamp Seattle. Everyone is expected to participate (blog, discuss, lead a session, give a demo or lightning talk, etc.) and the schedule is planned the "day of" at the start of the event (although you are encouraged to put up your session topic on the BarCamp Vancouver wiki)

ISS Pass Details
I looked up your dates, and since you mentioned starting on the evening of the 25th, someone should make a point of scheduling in that evening's International Space Station over-Vancouver visible pass.

So... the pass starts at 10:28andahalf pm at an angle of 10 degrees above the horizon just west of north west. (Is there a compass in the house?) It's flight peaks at 52 degrees above the horizon and it then slips into the earth's shadow at its highest visible point.
It's not clear to me how high the horizon starts in that direction from the venue... the mountains might mean that the visible part of the pass is quite short, especially if they extend up to 30ish degrees above the horizontal. Anyone got a sextant?

(If the sky is clear, it'll be a good excuse to go outside. If there is a good view of the sky, there's better than even odds that it'll be visible through the streetlight light pollution)
