Hello all,
The first Thursday in October is fast approaching, so I thought I would take the pulse of the London Drupal community. Does everyone want to meet, with just a week before the Toronto Drupal Camp?
If you have the opportunity, I'd strongly advise anyone reading this to attend Drupal Camp. I know the ones I have attending in previous years have had a wealth of informative presentation suited to a variety of skill levels, and it's a great chance to run elbows with some people who are very active in the Drupal community. Registration is open at:

If you do still want a meeting next week, please suggest a topic.

Oct Meeting
I'd say hold off unless there were a large number of people not intending on going to the camp. I know I'm pushing for camping permission from work.

Dave?
Holding off... OK
I'm fine with skipping this month. Looking forward to seeing you all at Drupal Camp. Cheers, Dan
For November how about an eCommerce topic -- Maybe an intro to Ubercart and some show and tell samples of what people have done with it?
eCommerce sounds good
Sounds like a good topic. I can certainly bring a couple of examples, and would be interested if anyone can share experience with another solution besides Ubercart. It would also be interesting to compare notes on payment processors and their relative merits.
ride/cost share
I would love to go. Is there anyone who could provide a ride there and back to share transportation costs. I can manage everything else.
Hwy 73 > TO
I'd be happy to carpool, but I live out of town. If you can get to the Hwy 73 carpool lot, I can drive the rest of the way.

Carpool to carpool
I actually have a co-worker who will be attending, but doesn't have a car. Can he catch a ride with you to/from the carpool lot?
I'd be glad to help as long
I'd be glad to help as long as I don't have to make a major detour. I am traveling on the 402 from Strathroy. I'd also be glad if you could ask your boss to dig into petty cash and pay the freight. Whatever works.
Gas is covered, London pickup
My employer will cover the gas, so no worries there.
My co-worker lives in London, so if you could pick him up in the city that would be perfect. I'll discuss a specific place with him, but I'm guessing the further South the better for you.
We have places to stay in the city, so our plan is to drive up tomorrow night and return Saturday after the last session. Would 8:15pm at the 401 & Hwy 73 carpool lot work for you? Or would you rather be on the road sooner?
