Back in July I posted this Call for Volunteers: Drupal Training. The effort went "dormant", but isn't dead. It's time to get this party started!
A reminder of what I'm proposing:
That the Metro Vancouver community run a one-day, volunteer lead Drupal training session targeting people with little or no experience with Drupal. It would follow Seattle's "Drupal Clinic" curriculum: http://poplarclass.com/agenda, which leaves attendees with a basic understanding of Drupal and a working website. Cost could be free, but I'd prefer a token cost to insure people are serious and cover incidental expenses.
I think I've responded to everyone who expressed interest, but frankly, have probably missed some people. I also wanted to reach out to people that may be hearing about this for the first time. If you're interested and haven't received an email from me, please drop me a note at dale.mcgladdery [at] gmail [dot] com or via the contact form.
I'm hoping we can meet within the next four weeks to start planning.
If you have questions, feel free to ask them here or contact me directly.
