User group meeting

We’re at MadLab this month from 7pm (NOT the usual 6pm as there was already another event going on.)

Some of us are planning to meet at the Common Bar (the one just across the road from MadLab) at 6pm as apparently they have really good burgers! It looks like they also do vegetarian food - http://www.aplacecalledcommon.co.uk/food

Here's the line-up for this month:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Drupal news and upcoming events
  • Migrating dev->stage->live using Features and Voodoo - a talk covering deployment of Features through dev/staging/live using Feature Server and Git to manage Features by Mike Bell from Ixis IT Limited
  • Q&A
  • Close and pub

If anyone else would like to do a demo or give a talk let me know beforehand.

Admission is free and there will be the usual light refreshments provided by MabLab for a small (or large) donation.

LOCATION
MadLab, 36-40 Edge Street, Manchester, M4 1HN

Thanks to all at Northwest Users Group

Just wanted to say thanks for the warm welcome I received at the Northwest Users Group last night.

I will be taking onboard the advice that I was given by the members and you certainly saved me a lot of time.

I'll be back next month with many other issues I am sure.

Thanks a lot

Regards

Dawn

Hi,

quick question if I may...

MadLab... I thought it was partially owned and run by the BBC.. however on reading their site more thoroughly it appears to be a private venture.

The reason I ask is we are trying to find similar venues in Glasgow and I was about to approach the BBC. Little point though if this is privately funded and run.

Still hope to see you in Manchester at some point though ;)

Thanks,
Keith
