Afternoon session is now full. If you have already registered (see list at https://drupaldemo.ed.uiuc.edu/attendees) you may attend the afternoon. ,However, you must still fill the pre event survey. If you have not registered, you may still attend the morning session. You must fill the pre event survey and indicate you are not attending the afternoon. We just don't have enough space for any more in the afternoon lunch and hands on. If you would like to be a trainer for the hands on, you may still register for the afternoon.

Drupal HOT
Will there be a charge for the session?
No plans for charging...
We haven't planned on charging. We may want to take some donations to offset expenses such as gas and food of traveling presenters though. A campus unit or company is welcome to be a cosponsor and kick in some for lunch or morning bagels and coffee ;)

Tentatively In
Hey guys - I have a Bradley visit day to lead on April 4th, so I may not be able to make it to the Drupal training.
I'm trying to work out a switch with another teacher, though, so I'll make it out if I can. (I'll wait until I know that I can come to sign up to present a session.)
Ditto on the 'maybe'
I would love to come and help out, but I'm not sure if my employer will go for excusing me for the workday during our busy season.

Thank you for the opportunity
Thanks so much for this opportunity, please let me know if I can bring some food for pot luck style lunch or a little sumptn' sumptn'
Great Event - Kudos To The Organizers.
Is it ok for us to bring donuts or something to share? I shall be willing to make a small donation to cover the expenses so please don't forget to solicit donations during the event.
The attendee list is only
The attendee list is only showing the most recent 20 entries and seems to be missing the earlier ones (my name and John's are missing and we were the first two). I sent an email to Moshe to see if someone could take a look at that so we can see for sure what we have.
Attendee Count and Refreshments
Some people have reserved by email, others by outlook meeting event, and some on the list. I have a spreadsheet I will post. With presenters there are about 53 so far. For the morning part I don't see a need to limit the numbers, but the hands on part may not work well if we don't have enough trainers.
At the end of the week, I'm going to send out an email confirming if people are attending both halves of the day, if they have or need test sites, etc.
Kim Nystrom knystrom at uiuc.edu is organizing refreshments. Any food offers, donation for coffee, corporate sponsorship of food, etc should be directed to her.

Moshe says there are 27 on
Moshe says there are 27 on the attendee list above, not the 20 that are visible in the attendee tab, for whatever that does to your count.
Wow! 53! Our little group is growing up fast :)
Moshe got the attendee list,
Moshe fixed the attendee list, it now shows everyone.
Re the test sites: will they have any content installed or just be blank canvases? What modules will be available? I posted that question to the wiki.
I added the module list to the wiki.
I don't have any plans for any actual starter content or profiles installed.
It will be a multisite install, so everyone will have access to the same set of modules and I can put as many as we like on it. currently i have: cck, auto_nodetitle, devel, fivestar, glossary, nice_menus, pathauto, porterstemmer, quiz, s5, taxonomy_theme, tinymce, token, views, webform, workflow, actions

Can we also install some of
Can we also install some of the most-used CCK modules like: imagefield (and imagecache), link, computed field. Would be nice to have Date and Calendar available. Other widely used modules are Organic Groups and Bio.
Will add modules.
I've added these to the list for the hands on sites. To request more, presenters should add them to the list at or add comments here.
