The IV seminar which is part of our Drupal seminar series was conducted at the office premises of Ahmedabad development Centre. The seminar provided the students an effective medium to know about this unique CMS that is getting a lot of attention from around the world.
Rajat Gupta started the session with a presentation giving an overview of the company BPO Canada, its philosophy and contributions that it has done to the growth of Drupal in India. It was followed by showing the multi-featured Drupal and its applications.
Mr. Dheeraj Dagliya explained to the students the framework and how modular and stable the CMS is. He further displayed the various aspects of Drupal such as the Theme system, APIs etc.
Just like last time, we made the seminar a bit more interesting by demonstrating the features of Drupal. Mr. Vijay Thummar took over the presentation displaying how a person can easily make a website in a matter of minutes. This attracted a lot of queries from the students who become quite inquisitive about the CMS.
We got very encouraging response from the students who wanted to know more about Drupal. They came know how Drupal community is closely knit and how they can find information through the Drupal site -www.drupal.org.
